Search for a book ▾

Use Search when you already know what you are looking for. You can search by title, author, series, or topic.

Search by title if you know the book name.
Search by author if you like a particular writer.
Search by topic if you want books about something specific.

Browse for ideas ▾

Use Browse when you are not sure what to read or listen to next. Browsing can help you discover new books, authors, genres, and collections.

Look through collections or categories.
Try different filters if you want to narrow your results.
Select a book cover to see more details.

Reserve a book ▾

If a book is already borrowed by someone else, you may be able to reserve it. When it becomes available, you can borrow it.

Return a book ▾

If you have reached your borrowing limit, you may need to return a book before borrowing another one. You can also wait for a borrowed book to expire automatically.

Common problems

I can't find a book

If you can't find a book, there are a few possible reasons:

Your filters are hiding it. Go to the Browse page and check what filters you have applied.
Your school may not have the book. Talk to a teacher about how you can suggest new books.
The book may not be available for your type of account. Your school decides what books you can access.

I can't borrow a book

If you can't borrow a book, there are a few possible reasons:

There are no more copies available for your school. You may be able to reserve the book.
You may have reached your borrowing limit. You may need to return a book or wait for one to expire.
The book may be restricted. Your school decides what books are accessible to you based on year level or age.

I borrowed a book but can't find it

Go to your Loans page and look for the book there.

If you still cannot find it, check that you are logged in with the correct school account.
